    • About Nagoya, and Kanayama

    Nagoya is located at the center of Japan between Tokyo and Kyoto. Around Nagoya station and Sakae area are thriving neighborhood. Neighboring area has the head quarters and hub office of various companies, e.g. automobile industry, steel industry, aeronautics industry, ceramic industry, and electrical industry.

    Kanayama district is the closest thriving area from conference venue (Nagoya Congress Center). We recommend staying at Kanayama during conference because you can get conference venue from there by one-stop subway.

    • Airport transportation

    From Chubu Centrair International Airport (NGO) to Nagoya area

    The railway "Meitetsu line" is the most convenient transportation to get Kanayama station and Nagoya station. It takes approximately 40min from Chubu Centrair International Airport to Kanayama, Nagoya station.
    If you want to take a taxi, you can find the taxi stand through out of arrival gate. It takes approximately 50min, 15,000 JPY.

    • From Narita International Airport (NRT) to Nagoya area

    The railway "Narita Express (operated by JR-East)" is the most convenient transportation to get Tokyo station. It takes approximately 1 hour from Narita airport to Tokyo station. You can transfer from Narita Express to Shinkansen (operated by JR-Central) at Tokyo station. From Tokyo, it takes approximately 1hr 40min to Nagoya station by Shinkansen.

    • From Haneda Airport (HND) to Nagoya Area

    The railway "Keikyu line" is the most convenient transportation to get Shinagawa station. It takes approximately 15min from Haneda airport to Shinagawa station. You can transfer from Keikyu line to Shinkansen (operated by JR-Central) at Shinagawa station. From Shinagawa, it takes approximately 1hr 30min to Nagoya station by Shinkansen.

    • From Kansai International Airport (KIX) to Nagoya Area

    The railway "Haruka (operated by JR-West)" is the most convenient transportation to get Shin-Osaka station. It takes approximately 50min from Kansai International Airport to Shin-Osaka station. You can transfer from Haruka to Shinkansen (operated by JR-Central) at Shin-Osaka station. From Shin-Osaka, it takes approximately 50min to Nagoya station by Shinkansen.
    Shinkansen does not stop at Osaka station. If you want to take Shinkansen, please go to Shin-Osaka station.

    • How to find conference venue

    From Kanayama area

    The subways "Meiko line" and "Meijyo line" are convenient transportation for going to Nagoya Congress Center. It takes approximately 3min from Kanayama station. Please get off at Hibino (in case of Meiko line) or Nishi Takakura (in case of Meijyo line). You can find conference venue after 5min on foot from both subway stations.
    If you take a taxi from Kanayama, the one-way fare is approximately 800 JPY.

    From Nagoya area

    The railways "Meitetsu line" and "JR line" are convenient transportation for going to Kanayama station. It takes approximately 5min. You can transfer from both railway to subways "Meiko line" and "Meijyo line" at Kanayama station.
    If you want to take a taxi for direct going to Nagoya Congress Center from Nagoya station, it costs approximately 2,200 JPY.
